Darts Analyzer tells you at which place you have to aim, if you want to maximize your success when playing the darts-game. It assumes that the actual hits the darts-player achieves are normal distributed around the point the player wanted to hit. The gaussian normal distribution has a property called "standard deviation", which is a numerical measure of the average distance between the target and the actual hit. Good darts-players have a much smaller standard deviation than average players. Darts Analyzer uses that knowledge to compute the statistically optimal point at which you should aim. So the only thing you have to tell it is your standard deviation. You do that by switching to the "Gauss"-mode and move the "Skill"-fader until the width of the white blob feels similar to your experienced average accuracy. Then you can switch to the "Expected Points"-mode or "Points Probability"-mode. The first shows the average amount of points you will get, when aiming at a specific position. The position with the most points is marked by an "x". The latter mode shows the probability to get a certain amount of points when aiming at a specific position. Also in this mode the best place is marked by an "x". This mode is useful when you are at the end of a game and have to get an exact amount of points to win the game.
